  • About Steven's Paintings

    Steve works in a loose version of impressionism. Often described as realism or naturalism, his work attempts to capture the gestalt of a scene or subject, not just the specific details. He works across different styles and feels the arts are a continuum and too close attention to one style can be corrupting.

  • Do you have a studio we can visit?

    Of course- I have a shop in Northeastern Florida and you are welcome by appointment. Email me to schedule a visit.

  • How can I commission Steven?

    If you know what you want, then email me then we can set up a call to discuss. I think it’s good to discus over Zoom or face-to-face some of the nuances in making your commission a successful one.

  • What books do you recommend on art?

  • Returns/Refunds

    Buyer assumes responsibility for their purchase. I do not accept art returns or offer refunds.

  • how long does a commission take?

    Anywhere from HOURS to MONTHS. A pet portrait can be finished within a few days and shipped once dry. Please ask questions about timing when we discuss commissions about timing. Some lead times are long ( sculpture, for instance).
